“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” –Christopher Reeve

little boy on walkerWe approach your child’s needs differently. As patients, children need a relaxed, comfortable, and play-based environment as the venue for physical therapy treatment. This is what you will find at Developmental Rehab Services, Inc.

Our physical therapy programs take a one-on-one care approach to help children who are dealing with developmental, orthopedic, and neuromuscular conditions. The goal is to promote the child’s development in physical strength, coordination, balance, and motor skills which are necessary for day-to-day activities.

Through experienced physical therapists, we are able to help children who struggle with:

  • Autism
  • Balance problems
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Coordination difficulties
  • Developmental delays
  • Genetic syndromes such as Down syndrome and muscular dystrophy
  • Limited range of motion
  • Posture issues
  • Spina Bifida
  • Sports-related injuries
  • Toe walking
  • And other similar conditions.

The rehabilitation takes place in a supportive environment. We believe that every child has a potential despite the disability he or she faces. When a child has a loving family and a support system made up of caring therapists, recovery is very much possible.
